Job Detail
- Travel to construction sites to diagnose and repair diesel-powered equipment such as excavators, dozers, compactors, and haul trucks.
- Perform on-site preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with limited access to shop tools.
- Communicate clearly with foremen, operators, and supervisors to coordinate repairs.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked service truck and accurate maintenance records. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of field or shop experience servicing heavy diesel equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics.
- Comfortable working in outdoor conditions (heat, mud, terrain).
- Highly dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. CDL or DOT medical card a plus.
- Familiarity with CAT, Komatsu, Volvo (Preferred, not required). What We Offer Company service truck, tools, and fuel card
