$30 – $40 an hour

Career Achievements is required

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks, trailers, and RV’s
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance, including New York State Safety inspections
• Support our heavy truck collision shop with all mechanical operations related to repair back to pre-loss condition, welding, and collision-related work
• Troubleshoot engine, emission system failure, brake, electrical, and suspension problems
• Perform heavy truck wheel alignment with laser alignment systems
• Maintain accurate repair logs and order parts as needed
• Ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workspace
• Collaborate with management to help shop perform efficiently and provide quality service.
• Mentor junior techs and help streamline repairs
• Skills:
• 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience (Class 7–8 trucks preferred)
• Strong diagnostic skills and hands-on knowledge of diesel and emission engines
• Welding/fabrication and structural repair experience highly valued
• Understanding of NYS regulations and compliance
• Valid NYS driver’s license (CDL/Class B preferred)
• Ability to lift 100 lbs and work in shop/outdoor conditions
• Positive attitude, accountability, and commitment to safety
• Capability to manage multiple projects and multitasker
