Job Detail
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and suspension issues in commercial trucks.
- Repair and replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems and any related issues.
- Conduct thorough inspections of trucks to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose problems and ensure proper repair procedures.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed on each truck.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the shop.
- Collaborate with the team to prioritize and complete repair tasks efficiently.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies in truck mechanics.
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. formal training from a recognized technical school is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Truck Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong understanding of commercial truck systems, engines, and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid TX driver’s license and clean driving record.
