Job Detail
- Preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, electrical troubleshooting, fuel and emissions system, air and hydraulic bake repairs, welding and fabrication, driveline, steering and suspension, plus other duties assigned.
- Assisting fellow technicians with repairs while maintaining compliance with safety.
- Maintaining knowledge of new technology in advanced diagnostics, internal engine and transmission repairs.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Completing necessary training.
- What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience (heavy- duty preferred)
- Advanced skills in strategy-based diagnostics. be able to utilize diagnostic tools and computers to identify root cause and correction.
- Freightliner, Detroit, Cummins, Eaton experience preferred.
- ASE certifications, knowledge of DOT standards.
- Additional Qualifications:
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and writ10communication skills.
- Commercial Driver’s License preferred but not required.
