Job Detail
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues.
- Performing repairs on electronic systems, brakes, hydraulics, and engines.
- Conducting routine preventative maintenance on all HBI vehicles and equipment.
- Accurately completing documentation and maintenance records.
- What We’re Looking For
- To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A solid understanding of vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance.
- Experience in hydraulics, electronics, and brake systems (preferred).
- Knowledge of engine rebuilding (a plus).
- A valid, insurance-acceptable driver’s license.
- Your own set of tools.
- Preferred Qualities
- Self-motivated and able to manage your workday independently based on company priorities.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Strong organizational habits, especially in managing tools and maintenance paperwork.
- Willingness to travel to job sites on short notice.
- Flexibility to work in various conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
- Work Environment Physical Requirements
- Environmental Conditions:You may be exposed to noise, welding fumes, sparks, gases, VOCs, insulation, and confined spaces. Work may occur in non-temperature-controlled environments or outside in all weather conditions.
- Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
- Good eye-hand coordination.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
