Job Detail
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment including Excavators, Loaders, Scrapers, forklifts, and any other company owned equipment.
- Execute assembly tasks and perform welding as needed for repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on industrial equipment and vehicles, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical issues.
- Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension components, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Occasional assist with heavy lifting.
- Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment operation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including Welding skills.
- Proficiency in working with Caterpillar machinery and understanding of OEM standards.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and perform complex repairs on various types of machinery.
- Experience with brake repair, assembly, and equipment repair is highly desirable.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
