Job summary we are seeking a skilled diesel technician to join our team, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment and automotive vehicles.

Job Detail
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks struts, and wheel alignments.
  • Utilize schematics and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Fabricate parts or components as needed using hand tools, power tools, welding, and soldering techniques.
  • Operate heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers for testing and repairs.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed.
  • Assist with assembly or disassembly of machinery during repairs or upgrades.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely following company policies and industry standards.
  • we provide 24 hour roadside service so we need techs that are available day and night on week and weekends to run road calls and they will be on rotation per each week.
  • Skills
  • Proven experience with dealership service or heavy equipment repair preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, and suspension components.
  • Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or tractor-trailers is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of fabrication techniques including welding and soldering.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
  • Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients regarding vehicle or equipment issues. This position requires a dedicated professional with a passion for mechanical repair and maintenance of diesel-powered equipment. Candidates should be committed to safety standards while delivering high-quality workmanship across a variety of machinery types.
