Job Detail
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on LP and diesel forklifts
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues across all equipment types
- Service, inspect and repair fleet vehicles (light- and heavy-duty trucks)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance protocols
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
- Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Order parts and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment, diesel, or industrial mechanic
- Strong knowledge of LP, diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Experience with diagnostic tools and basic fabrication/welding (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license. CDL a plus
- Strong safety mindset and problem-solving skills
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $20 – $25 per hour
