Job Detail
- Help write, develop and improve our Diesel Technician training course.
- Our program is hands-on. You will lecture, but the majority of time will be spent teaching people how to properly perform tasks on real equipment.
- Instruct diesel theory for roughly 60 minutes per session.
- Manage on-line coursework.
- Mentor students.
- Focus on Preventative Maintenance, Electrical, Brakes, Emissions, Wheels, Diagnostics.
- Limited engine and transmission work.
- Rank students on Attitude, Attendance, Mechanical Ability, Coursework, and Work Ethic.
- Heavy daily interactions with students. Required Work Experience and Skills: Significant experience in the field of diesel technology, either mechanic or manufacturing
- ASE Certifications a plus, but not required.
- Comfort with technology, both learning and diagnostic a must.
- Cultural fit is extremely important.
- A willingness and desire to bring new people into this industry and shake up the status quo.
- Experience: Relevant: 2 years (Preferred)
- Diesel Technician: 5 years (Required)
