Job Detail
  • Help write, develop and improve our Diesel Technician training course.
  • Our program is hands-on. You will lecture, but the majority of time will be spent teaching people how to properly perform tasks on real equipment.
  • Instruct diesel theory for roughly 60 minutes per session.
  • Manage on-line coursework.
  • Mentor students.
  • Focus on Preventative Maintenance, Electrical, Brakes, Emissions, Wheels, Diagnostics.
  • Limited engine and transmission work.
  • Rank students on Attitude, Attendance, Mechanical Ability, Coursework, and Work Ethic.
  • Heavy daily interactions with students. Required Work Experience and Skills: Significant experience in the field of diesel technology, either mechanic or manufacturing
  • ASE Certifications a plus, but not required.
  • Comfort with technology, both learning and diagnostic a must.
  • Cultural fit is extremely important.
  • A willingness and desire to bring new people into this industry and shake up the status quo.
  • Experience: Relevant: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Diesel Technician: 5 years (Required)
