Job Detail
- Installation Assembly: Build and install high-element ropes courses, climbing walls, ninja warrior courses, and playgrounds according to engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Heavy Equipment Operation: Safely operate rental construction equipment, including telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and skid steers, to move materials and access work areas.
- Carpentry Rigging: Perform structural framing, decking, and finish carpentry. execute complex rigging tasks involving steel cables, tensioning systems, and specialty hardware.
- Site Safety: Strictly adhere to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols at all times. This includes mandatory use of fall protection gear (harnesses, lanyards) when working at heights.
- Teamwork: Work effectively with a traveling crew to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Required Qualifications
- Travel: Must be willing and able to travel extensively (up to 100% travel) across the United States for weeks at a time.
- Construction Experience: Proven experience in general construction, carpentry, steel erection, or landscaping.
- Comfort with Heights: Absolute comfort working at significant heights (20ft – 60ft+) while utilizing fall protection equipment.
- Certifications: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is required. (Or willingness to obtain immediately upon hiring).
- Background: Must be able to pass a comprehensive drug screening and criminal background check.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Preferred Skills (The “Ropes Course” Edge)
- Experience with structural rigging (swaging, cable clamps, turnbuckles).
- Certified operator card for aerial work platforms (ANSI/IPAF).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics.
- First Aid / CPR certification.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50-75+ lbs).
- Ability to stand, climb, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
