Job Detail
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to facilitate construction activities.
- Manage and operate specialized machinery including dump trucks, farm machinery.
- Ensure all equipment is operated safely in compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal functioning.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, material handling, and transportation of materials across the construction site.
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on-site.
- Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, and skid steers.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Construction site experience with understanding of safety procedures and site logistics.
- Ability to operate specialized vehicles including dump trucks, and farm machinery.
- Commercial driving skills with a valid driver’s license preferred.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment or similar brands is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
