Job Detail
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on light machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs.
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently during daily operations, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of machinery for various projects or operational needs.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and equipment upgrades.
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic and/or equipment operator, preferably with light machinery.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues effectively.
- Ability to operate various types of light equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to follow safety procedures diligently and maintain a clean work area.
- Have a clean drivers license and reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- This is not a per-diem based job, however, when working more than 45 miles from the shop, per diem is provided.
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $20 – $30 per hour
- Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
