Overview we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented machine operator to join our manufacturing team.

$20.90 – $25.17 an hour

Job Detail
  • Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CNC programming, CAM programming, stamping presses, and press brake machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GDT specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls or other PLC systems to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Handle materials efficiently using forklifts or other materials handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using basic math skills and mechanical knowledge. perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist in assembly line operations, fabrication tasks, or packaging processes as required.
  • Follow safety procedures diligently during all phases of operation to promote a safe working environment.
  • Experience
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC programming (including CAD/CAM software) and operating machining equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and press brakes.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, GDT standards, and precision measurement instruments like calipers and micrometers.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems including welding, tooling setup, fabrication processes, and materials handling.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with factory safety protocols and quality control procedures is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring attention to detail and precision.
