Job Detail
- Operate and maintain sewing machines to fabricate products according to exact specifications.
- Handle and assemble wooden or custom crates using hand tools and other mechanical equipment.
- Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure all products meet established standards before packaging and shipment.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance production efficiency.
- Package finished goods, ensuring proper labeling and secure preparation for shipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance or coordinate repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support overall team productivity.
- Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role involving machinery operation and manual labor.
- Proven experience with sewing machines and fabrication tools is highly desirable.
- Comfortable using hand tools for construction or assembly tasks.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred. certification is a plus.
- Prior experience in crate handling, construction, or heavy equipment environments is a strong advantage.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality and safety.
