Job Detail
  • Safely mobilize, operate, and maintain a skid steer loader using various attachments (buckets, grapples) to execute timely and precise debris handling.
  • Precision Loading:
  • Execute controlled, smooth movements to ensure the safe and efficient loading of commercial roll-off containers, dumpsters, and trailers, strictly avoiding spillage.
  • Safety Compliance Mandate:
  • Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area as work progresses, strictly adhering to all OSHA standards/regulations to mitigate site risks and company liability.
  • Equipment Stewardship:
  • Perform and accurately document a mandatory daily pre-operation inspection (checking ROPS/FOPS integrity, restraint systems, fluids, and controls). Immediately tag out any equipment with safety defects.• Conduct routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the skid steer and its attachments, including checking and replenishing lubricants—especially for critical components such as the fork rotator. • Ensure all equipment remains in safe, operable condition throughout the workday.
  • Field Crew Integration:
  • Collaborate closely with the Site Supervisor and crew, providing hands-on manual assistance with debris sorting, material handling, and general site preparation.
  • Digital Reporting:
  • Utilize company-provided technology (smartph1apps) to accurately complete daily activity logs, material movement documentation, and upload compliance photos for invoicing and record-keeping.
  • Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Certification: Current, valid OSHA-compliant Certificate of Completion demonstrating qualification to operate skid steer equipment (or willingness to obtain immediately).• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional, hands-on experience operating a skid steer loader in a construction environment.• Licensing: Valid Driver’s License and an insurable driving record.• Physical Capacity: Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry objects weighing 50 to 90 lbs without assistance.
  • Highly Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL): Possession of a Class A or Class B CDL is highly advantageous, as it allows the operator to transport heavy equipment and haul large roll-off containers, increasing your value to the company.
  • Work Environment Schedule
  • The role requires working in all types of weather conditions on active construction sites, exposed to noise, dust, and debris. • Flexible hours are required, which of10include overtime (up to 55 hours per week) and occasional weekend work depending on project schedules.
