Job Detail
- Assists in planning, scheduling, and supervising the course maintenance operations
- Lead, train, and motivate greenskeeper staff
- Monitor turf health, irrigation needs, and pest/disease pressure
- Assist with the proper application, calibration, and record keeping for all pesticides and fertilizers
- Lead course improvement projects
- Operate and maintain turf equipment
- Help manage the irrigation system, repairs, and watering schedule
- Ensure safe and productive work environment
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
- Schedule: full-time, required to work some weekends and holidays
- Qualifications
- 2-4 years of golf maintenance experience required
- Degree or certificate in Turf Management or related field is helpful but not required
- TN C3 pesticide applicator license or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Strong knowledge of turf management, irrigation, and equipment operation
- Leadership qualities
- Must be reliable, organized, and have the ability to maintain good communication with the superintendent
