- Responsibilities: Assist Manager or Irrigation Technician II in maintaining and performing repairs on complex irrigation (automatic) systems.
- Hand waters golf course as directed by supervisors.
- Perform technical tasks and manual labor involved in maintaining and repairing golf course irrigation systems.
- Operate and maintain pumping equipment.
- Read water flow meters.
- Repair broken pipe and swing joints.
- Perform preventive maintenance on Cla-valves, PRV screens (including pressure settings).
- Change head spacing for more effective water distribution.
- Raise or lower irrigation heads as required.
- Monitor and reset angle of spray on part-circle heads so that only turf is irrigated.
- Maintain drainage systems and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors and management. Physical Requirements Working Conditions: Required to stand and walk – Frequently

- Ability to drive a motor vehicle – Frequently
- Required to work in an outdoor working environment – Constantly
- Exposed to extreme temperatures and inclement weather – Regularly
