Job Detail
- Install flooring, tiles, cabinets, fixtures, and trim carpentry components according to project specifications and schematics
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute installation plans
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks
- Perform caulking, painting, buffing, and finishing work to ensure a polished final product
- Assist with water damage restoration projects and water damage repairs as needed
- Conduct concrete finishing and remodeling tasks on-site
- Measure spaces accurately for proper fitment of materials and fixtures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications
- Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, flooring installation, tile laying, carpentry, or related fields
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and restoration work
- Experience with water damage restoration industry practices is a plus
- Strong understanding of the use of hand tools, carpentry techniques, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and concrete finishing
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Prior experience working on construction sites with exposure to remodeling or restoration projects is desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environmental conditions
