Job Detail
- Perform thorough cleaning of air ducts, vents, and HVAC components using specialized tools and equipment
- Install, repair, and upgrade insulation materials in ductwork and building structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct construction estimating for project planning and resource allocation
- Apply skills in carpentry, framing, roofing, stucco, masonry, and metal stud framing as needed for insulation installation
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot system issues and ensure optimal performance
- Perform caulking, trim carpentry, plastering, and construction painting to finish projects professionally
- Maintain safety standards on-site by adhering to OSHA guidelines and company policies
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timelines
- Experience
- Proven experience in construction site work or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or HVAC installation
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for complex building systems
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems and related mechanical components
- Prior experience with drywall installation (trim carpentry), stucco application, concrete finishing, or metal stud framing is advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise project execution
- This position requires a motivated individual with a strong work ethic who is eager to develop their skills across multiple trades within the construction industry. Candidates should demonstrate versatility in handling various tasks related to duct cleaning and insulation while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Pay: $25 – $30 per hour
- Expected hours: 40.0 per week
