Job summary we are seeking energetic and detail-oriented experience painters to join our dynamic team! in this role, you will bring color and life to residential, commercial, and industrial spaces by applying paint and coatings with precision and care.

$18 – $23 an hour

• Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Mix paints and coatings accurately using color theory knowledge to achieve desired hues and finishes.
• Use hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and scaffolding safely to apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings on walls, ceilings, trims, stucco, masonry, and other surfaces.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project scope and specifications.
• Perform construction estimating for painting projects by assessing materials needed and labor requirements.
• Execute renovation and restoration projects with attention to detail on both interior and exterior surfaces.
• Install fixtures such as trim carpentry, moldings, frames, and other decorative or functional elements.
• Conduct maintenance tasks including drywall repair, masonry work, concrete finishing, welding (where applicable), and general maintenance person duties.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to meet deadlines efficiently on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Assist in the training of junior team members or apprentices when needed.
• Skills
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for accurate project planning.
• Expertise in residential painting techniques as well as commercial and industrial coating applications.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools (including airless sprayers), scaffolding setup, welding equipment (if applicable), and other relevant machinery.
• Solid understanding of color theory for achieving consistent finishes across multiple surfaces.
• Experience with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, restoration projects, framing carpentry, fixture installation, remodeling tasks, concrete finishing, maintenance work, schematics interpretation, and schematic reading.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations accurately.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to project challenges.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients professionally.
