Job Detail
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping old popcorn paint, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Work with drywall and plaster to ensure smooth surfaces before painting.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with trim carpentry teams to ensure seamless integration of painted surfaces with other elements.
- Follow safety protocols on the construction site to maintain a safe working environment.
- Skills
- Proficient in residential painting techniques and materials.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in painting and construction.
- Knowledge of caulking methods for sealing gaps and joints effectively.
- Ability to build relationships with team members and communicate effectively on-site.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and repair processes is a plus.
