Job Detail
  • Mix primer and paint per the TDS.
  • Maintain quality standards for paint application.
  • Set up, maintain and clean equipment, such as paint gun systems, HVLP spray guns, airless sprayers, solvent recycling systems, mixing equipment, calibrated tools, etc.
  • Hook up and disconnect air compressors and sandblast equipment. regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through the nozzle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Store, handle and dispose of paint, stain, varnish, and other chemicals according to established procedures.
  • Safely operate and maintain all hand tools and any equipment to include: compressors, forklifts, vehicles, scissor lifts, boom lifts and heavy machinery.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Keep accurate records of production output. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS: Minimum of 3(3) years’ experience in both Painting and Blasting.
  • Must know how to hook up and disconnect air compressors and sandblast equipment. regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through the nozzle.
  • Must be highly organized and have exceptional time management skills.
  • Must be dependable, punctual and reliable.
  • Working environment is in an industrial setting that is non-climate controlled.
  • Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which include walking, climbing, standing, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., or similar actives for extended periods of time.
