Job Detail
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as needed.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Understand and apply color theory to achieve desired results.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
- Perform plastering, caulking, and other finishing techniques to ensure smooth surfaces.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. utilize hand tools and power tools safely.
- Conduct restoration work on existing structures as needed.
- Assist in renovation projects by providing painting services that enhance the overall aesthetic.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on construction sites.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting.
- Knowledge of construction estimating and basic math skills for project planning.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Experience in carpentry (including trim carpentry and frame carpentry) is a plus.
- Ability to perform concrete finishing, masonry work, and maintenance person tasks as required.
- Strong understanding of industrial painting techniques is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior experience on construction sites is preferred. knowledge of renovation processes is advantageous.
