Job Detail
- Full-Time, with the ability to work on-call
- Afternoon / Evening Shift, Monday-Friday
- Must be available to work on the weekends
- Hours: 3:30-10:00 PM, overtime in busy seasons*
- Job Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and patching imperfections
- Paint and maintain all working studios (walls cycloramas) in between clients
- Paint and maintain the interior and exterior of all buildings (including patching and repainting)
- Facilitate custom client requests, such as colored cycloramas and/or set walls
- Perform general maintenance tasks on facilities or equipment to ensure operational efficiency
- Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
- Maintain the building HVAC equipment to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
- Maintain inventory of supplies including tools, paint supplies, etc.
- Ensure all areas are kept clear of debris (studios, EQ room parking lot)
- Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Tend to indoor and outdoor plants, including watering and trimming
- Communicate with managers and team members to ensure a smooth workflow
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work sites by adhering to safety protocols
- Ensure that all production/operations are conducted in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations such as OSHA, and CalOSHA
- Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial maintenance experience
- Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects
- Knowledge of industrial painting processes such as airless paint spraying
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and industrial painting techniques
- Familiarity with plastering, caulking, stucco application, fixture installation, and restoration work
- Experience in carpentry including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, concrete finishing, masonry, and remodeling projects
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and estimations
- Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and safety procedures
- Self-motivated, independent thinker, able to problem-solve independently
- Organized detail-oriented, able to stay organized while handling multiple projects and meeting
- Trustworthy, values and demonstrates honesty integrity in all interactions
- Strong communicator, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Adaptable, able to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced, changing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Pay: From $23 per hour
