- Carpenter / Foreman Job Summary We have an immediate opening for an experienced Carpenter / Foreman for our residential construction company. We are looking for some1with a solid background in the field, strong leadership skills, and the ability to direct the work of others. Our ideal candidate is reliable, arrives on time with their own tools, and has experience with general carpentry tasks and all phases of residential construction. Carpenter / Foreman Duties and Responsibilities Oversee and ensure that all safety rules are being followed at all sites at all times
- Review plans and blueprints to ensure you understand the scope of the project
- Coordinate with and oversee subcontractors
- Communicate with other construction team members to ensure accuracy of tasks
- Clean area and store equipment when the project is complete
- Carpenter / Foreman Requirements and Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent
- Completed a carpentry training program or apprenticeship (preferred)
- Proficient with industry tools and carpentry techniques
- The ability to lift at least 35 pounds and work at heights of over 20 feet
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Punctual and follow all safety regulations
- Fluency in English. Spanish a plus
