- Job Summary
- We are looking for some1who is enthusiastic about becoming part of our team and takes pride in a job well done. The position is an entry level position as an apprentice/helper to a carpenter. We work on high end finish carpentry and our demand is increasing fast. This is a 40 hr per week job where you will be working alongside master craftsman daily and will be taught every aspect of finish woodworking. The end goal is to train up another leader on our team to repeat the process again. - Responsibilities and Duties
- This position will require you to work with your body and mind. You will first go through a short training period where,you will be expected to learn the basic woodworking tools, saws, measuring tape, sanders ect. You will learn the general safety procedures required.You will set up tools for each day, install woodworking, cut wood, carry and stack wood, and assist others in larger installations. You will not be expected to perform any task without the assistance of another carpenter until you are comfortable with the process.
- Qualifications and Skills
- We only expect a candidate to have a good attitude and an aptitude for hands on skills. Reliable transportation is also required.
