- PRIMARY DUTIES
- Works closely with other HVAC/R Service Techs to expertly install, repair, maintain or replace heating, cooling systems, ventilation, refrigeration and or component parts according to requirements
- HVAC/R Technicians of10works independently to install, repair, maintain or replace HVAC/R units, systems or component parts
- Travels to job sites in service area and follows direction of Dispatcher to ensure client schedule is maintained to the best of the Service Tech’s ability
- Reviews work schedule daily to adhere to and optimize work hours
- Follows systematic questioning techniques and troubleshooting guidelines to determine unit/equipment functionality and/or failure
- Accurately communicates unit/equipment issues to manager and clients
- Promptly and accurately completes all required paperwork daily, documenting in detail all work performed and/or installed as well as all time associated with calls/projects
- Available to service emergency calls on week days, week nights and weekends, as needed
- SECONDARY DUTIES
- Maintains vehicle and tools weekly, keeping equipment clean and ready for work
- Communicates with Dispatcher to mitigate scheduling conflicts and delays
- Actively seeks opportunities to enhance client systems
- Provides Sales with qualified leads and alerts Sales to competitive sales efforts
- Participate in meetings, workshops, training and seminars as required
- Other duties as assigned
