Job Detail
- Lead or assist in the full installation and replacement of HVAC systems.
- Safely remove and dispose of old, existing HVAC equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and design specifications.
- Install, fabricate, or modify sheet metal ductwork, plenums, and transitions.
- Run and connect gas lines, condensate lines, and low-voltage wiring.
- Braze and solder refrigerant lines with precision.
- Set and connect new thermostats and control systems.
- Perform system start-ups, test for proper operation, and ensure correct refrigerant charge.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and vehicle.
- Communicate professionally with customers, builders, and team members.
- Qualifications Skills
- Required:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional HVAC installation experience.
- Certification: Valid EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
- Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in brazing, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication/installation.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting (75+ lbs), bending, and working in tight spaces (attics, crawlspaces) and various weather conditions.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, pride in your work, and a positive, team-first attitude.
- Preferred (Not Required):
- NATE Certification.
- Experience installing boilers or other hydronic systems.
- Completion of an HVAC trade school or apprenticeship program.
- Experience leading a residential or commercial install team.

- Pay: $20 – $35 per hour
