Job summary we are seeking a skilled heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (hvac) technician to join our team.

Salary Detail
$50,000 – $200,000 a year

Job Detail
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately perform installations and repairs.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and longevity.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices. perform electrical troubleshooting as needed.
  • Repair or replace components such as motors, fans, compressors, valves, and control systems.
  • Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems including refrigerant lines and condensate drainage.
  • Weld or perform other mechanical repairs on equipment when necessary. operate specialized tools like welding equipment safely.
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all service activities.
  • Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems or general building operations as required.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as construction, appliance repair, or property maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration, HVAC/R systems, and boiler operations.
  • Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles. familiarity with electrical systems is preferred.
  • Skilled in equipment repair including the use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters. welding experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of plumbing related to refrigerant lines and drainage systems.
  • Prior field service experience with air conditioning units, boilers, or refrigeration systems highly desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. ability to operate a &lt.PERSON&gt. vehicle is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Physical ability to work in various environments that may involve lifting heavy equipment or working at heights. willingness to work in different weather conditions as needed.
