Job Detail
- Perform full AC, heating, and refrigeration services: leak detection, charging/recovering refrigerant, measuring system parameters (pressures, temperatures, CFM), and electrical diagnostics (low/high voltage).
- Diagnose issues, make recommendations, and ensure compliance with federal/state/local codes and safety measures.
- Collaborate with inspectors, suppliers, co-workers, supervisors, dispatchers, and customers for seamless repairs/replacements/installs.
- Train helpers as needed. maintain positive attitude and composure under pressure.
- Handle 3–5 visits/day. work indoors/outdoors in extreme temperatures.
- What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED.
- Proven refrigeration background (e.g, shake machines? Bonus points!).
- Commercial service experience. lead-level proficiency preferred.
- EPA Section 608 certification (Type II).
- Excellent communication/customer service. tech-savvy with email, messaging, and apps.
- Self-motivated, dependable, year-round availability. able to prioritize and handle upset customers.
- Valid driver’s license. must pass drug test, background check.
- Willingness for 24/7 on-call (1 week every 6 weeks. $150/week stipend).
