Job Brief
Journeyman electrician -an electrician will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems.

Job Detail
- Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
- Ensures installation complies with electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
- Read project documents to ensure desired installations.
- Plan and layout for installations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to read blueprints.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship and/or valid electrician’s license. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.
- Must be physically capable of moving and lifting heavy objects.
- Must have acute dexterity for small wiring tasks. Pay rate is based on the prevailing wage rate and could range from $25-50 an hour
