Job Detail
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems, including power distribution panels, transformers, MCCs, motors, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, and lighting systems.
  • Diagnose and correct electrical faults and automation issues using appropriate test equipment (multimeters, megohm meters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on electrical systems per SOPs, NEC standards, and CMMS work orders.
  • Install conduit, wiring, cable trays, junction boxes, and terminations in accordance with NEC, OSHA, and site safety standards.
  • Support manufacturing and packaging operations by troubleshooting electrical and control issues on OSD production equipment.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, and Validation teams during new equipment installations, system upgrades, and capital projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical work performed, including repairs, maintenance activities, and modifications, following ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
  • Verify grounding, load distribution, and equipment safety prior to energization.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis, continuous improvement, and reliability-focused maintenance programs.
  • Adhere to all KVK Tech SOPs, cGMP requirements, and OSHA safety procedures, including LOTO and arc-flash protection.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment consistent with 5S and safety standards.
  • Respond to electrical emergencies or off-hours maintenance needs as required.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned to support department and site operations.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 5–7 years of industrial or commercial electrical experience required. experience in pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently on power systems, controls, and automation equipment.Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. completion of an accredited electrical trade school, vocational program, or apprenticeship strongly preferred.
  • Skills Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in interpreting single-line diagrams, schematics, and control wiring drawings.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing motors, VFDs, motor starters, and control circuits.
  • Working knowledge of NEC standards, electrical safety procedures, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices.
  • Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation (Allen-Bradley preferred).
  • Ability to use CMMS systems for documentation and work order tracking.
  • Strong communication, organization, and troubleshooting skills with a focus on reliability and safety.
  • Flexibility to support 24/7 operations and respond to time-sensitive issues as needed.
  • OSHA 10/30, Journeyman, or Master Electrician license preferred but not required.
