Job Detail
- 480V), with occasional work involving medium-voltage systems (5 kV–15 kV) such as transformers, junction vaults, switches, and switchgear.
- Install and remove load monitoring equipment (current transformers, data loggers, etc.) for NEC 220.87 load studies.
- Collect and record electrical system data for coordination, short-circuit, and arc-flash studies.
- Prepare field reports, photos, and one-line markups documenting existing conditions.
- Review electrical drawings for constructability and assist with QA/QC.
- Follow NFPA 70E and LOTO safety procedures at all times.
- Report directly to the Project Manager and collaborate with electrical engineers and designers.
- Travel within the region and occasionally to out-of-state projects. : What you will bring to our firm: Active Washington State EL01 Journeyman Electrician License
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a journey-level electrician
- Experience with public, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities preferred
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety practices
- Ability to interpret electrical plans, one-lines, and panel schedules
- Excellent writ10and verbal communication skills, including report preparation
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Compensation: The salary range for this role is $90,000 – $120,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
