Job Detail
  • Manage the day-to-day development tasks for a set of large and complex renewable energy projects throughout its lifecycle from initiation to construction and handoff.
  • The position reports to the Vice President and Project Superintendent.
  • Outreach to and negotiate with prospective clients to close deals and coordinate scheduling and materials management.
  • Participate in the development of key account and utility relationships.
  • Develop/maintain business relationships with key consultants and vendors.
  • Research and stay informed of critical client and industry regulations and issues.
  • Provide construction site assistance such as ensuring materials and equipment are on site when needed. Qualifications: 3+ years experience and strong record of accomplishment in relevant roles.
  • Renewable energy project management experience (both commercial and residential).
  • Skilled at outreach, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Exceptional ability to make optimal decisions and adapt to a fast-paced industry.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple teams including installation, design, management, and engineering.
  • Ability to commute to company headquarters in addition to working remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in MS Office Suite (Office, Excel, PowerPoint) and have experience utilizing PV design software. Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • Duties and responsibilities will be performed in an office environment as well as in the field (project locations). The ideal candidate should be experienced in hauling equipment, able to lift heavy objects, and have a willingness to travel throughout the state by automobile. Frequent site visits will be required and could be in a variety of settings (i.e. proposed project sites, existing construction projects, and community outreach events or meetings).
