Job Detail
  • Install, program, and configure building automation control systems, including HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on BAS components, including sensors, controllers, actuators, and software.
  • Conduct system diagnostics and respond to service calls to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Work closely with customers, project managers, and engineers to ensure systems operate according to specifications.
  • Provide training and technical support to customers and end-users.
  • Assist in system upgrades, retrofits, and commissioning of new BAS installations.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in building automation.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and company policies.
  • Assist Service Mechanics as needed in troubleshooting or making repairs.
  • Perform Control PM inspections either on site or remotely, dependent on site connectivity. Qualifications: Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, Building Automation, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in building automation systems service, maintenance, or installation.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC principles, control systems, and energy management strategies.
  • Experience with leading BAS platforms such as Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, or Schneider Electric.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including IP-based communication and system integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: A strong HVAC Service Background
  • Experience with programming and configuring BAS software.
  • Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks communication protocols.
  • Certifications in building automation systems or HVAC (e.g, Niagara AX/N4, Tridium, or equivalent).
  • Experience in industrial or large commercial facilities. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces as required.
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including mechanical rooms and outdoor settings. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
