Job Detail
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, farm machinery, and diesel engines.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct inspections on air brake systems and other critical components to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize soldering skills for electrical repairs as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic, preferably with heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various machinery types.
- Familiarity with automotive repair, including suspension systems and transmission work.
- Experience in diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license may be required based on job duties.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methods in the field.
