Diploma or GED or other equivalency approved by Okeelanta Management.
Job Detail
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications.
- Install, examine, replace or repair GRS conduit, EMT conduit, PVC conduit, lighting, electrical wiring, grounding, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, starters, controllers, VFD’s, relays, fuses, coils and other electrical components.
- Follow strict safety procedures when repairing or installing single phase and 3phase power distribution systems related to 120/208/240/277/480 and 4160 voltages.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, rectifiers, relays, capacitors and inductors.
- Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, battery banks, circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot maintain electrical and electronic control systems, fire alarm, intercom, security and other related devices.
- Perform necessary repairs quickly and safely to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records as required.
- WORK EXPERIENCES Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical maintenance and instrumentation.
- Plant experience in process control and reliability in a manufacturing facility.
- EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Posses a High School Diploma or GED or other equivalency approved by Okeelanta Management.
- A valid Palm Beach County Journeymen License is desirable but not required
