Job Detail
  • Prepare pre-task plan before beginning work and adhere to all safety requirements specific to the job
  • Ability to participate in weekly rotating “after hours” call out duty that requires prompt response on a 24-hour basis including weekends and holidays
  • Assists Mechanic with preventive maintenance and repairs for facilities, electromechanical machinery and equipment
  • Lubricates equipment and checks for malfunctions
  • Replaces packing in pumps and valves
  • Replaces bearings in motors, pumps and other equipment
  • Maintains physical appearance of facilities and housekeeping
  • Assist in performing scheduled preventative maintenance and routine cleaning as required
  • Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance on all equipment
  • Performs routine electrical maintenance and motor repairs
  • Performs clean-up work after repairs are completed
  • Complete work orders and field complaint forms
  • Perform other duties as required



  • Here’s what you’ll need

    Minimum Qualification

    Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to obtain Vibration Analyst CAT one (1) year of employment
  • Construction experience


    Preferred Qualifications

    Possess, or be able to obtain a FDEP Class “III” Water Distribution Operator License

  • The base salary range for this position is $36,100
  • 00 to $51,700
  • 00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked
  • Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
