- Prepare pre-task plan before beginning work and adhere to all safety requirements specific to the job
- Ability to participate in weekly rotating “after hours” call out duty that requires prompt response on a 24-hour basis including weekends and holidays
- Assists Mechanic with preventive maintenance and repairs for facilities, electromechanical machinery and equipment
- Lubricates equipment and checks for malfunctions
- Replaces packing in pumps and valves
- Replaces bearings in motors, pumps and other equipment
- Maintains physical appearance of facilities and housekeeping
- Assist in performing scheduled preventative maintenance and routine cleaning as required
- Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Performs routine electrical maintenance and motor repairs
- Performs clean-up work after repairs are completed
- Complete work orders and field complaint forms
- Perform other duties as required
Here’s what you’ll need
Minimum Qualification
Valid Driver’s License- Ability to obtain Vibration Analyst CAT one (1) year of employment
- Construction experience
Preferred Qualifications
Possess, or be able to obtain a FDEP Class “III” Water Distribution Operator License

The base salary range for this position is $36,100- 00 to $51,700
- 00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked
- Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training
