Job Detail
  • Applies related knowledge to resolve basic operating problems (some examples below) in a timely manner; reports other problems to Supervisor
  • Typical actions include testing and/or modifying operational machinery and control equipment; repairing various vacuum, mechanical, and pneumatic systems; performing mechanical calibrations and alignments; and assembling and testing motor-control devices, sprockets, bearings, and vacuum pumps, and air valves
  • Repairs and preforms general mechanical work on multiple production systems in and around the facility
  • Applies related knowledge to test and/or modify operational machinery and control equipment
  • Accurately completes daily maintenance reports
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment and conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste
  • Follows safety policies and procedures; reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor

  • Education & Experience

    High School Diploma or GED


  • Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

    Three to five years related experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible able to quickly shift priorities as needed
  • Able to work from verbal and written instructions

    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    Work Environment

    Maintenance Self-paced, 8 hr shifts
  • be exposed to fumes, loud noises and extreme temperatures infrequently
  • Functional near, far and peripheral vision and functional hearing required

    Maintenance Medium – Very heavy, lifting up to 150 lbs
