Job Detail
- Applies related knowledge to resolve basic operating problems (some examples below) in a timely manner; reports other problems to Supervisor
- Typical actions include testing and/or modifying operational machinery and control equipment; repairing various vacuum, mechanical, and pneumatic systems; performing mechanical calibrations and alignments; and assembling and testing motor-control devices, sprockets, bearings, and vacuum pumps, and air valves
- Repairs and preforms general mechanical work on multiple production systems in and around the facility
- Applies related knowledge to test and/or modify operational machinery and control equipment
- Accurately completes daily maintenance reports
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment and conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste
- Follows safety policies and procedures; reports unsafe conditions to Supervisor

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Three to five years related experience- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Flexible able to quickly shift priorities as needed
- Able to work from verbal and written instructions

Work Environment
Maintenance Self-paced, 8 hr shifts- be exposed to fumes, loud noises and extreme temperatures infrequently
- Functional near, far and peripheral vision and functional hearing required
