1sphere is pioneering ai transformation for the fortune 500.. . founded by sanjay jeyakumar (previously co-founder/cto at abnormal ai (now valued at $5b , securing 25% of the fortune 500).. . 1sphere builds custom ai workflows for fortune 500 enterprises—delivering in 90 days what takes competitors 18 months. we’re the ai software factory: embedding elite ai talent purpose-built tooling proven processes directly into your sap, salesforce, workday systems. no rip-and-replace. now assembling founding team in sf bay area to take market share from palantir and servicenow ($100b incumbents moving too slow). ship production ai solutions from week one.. . platform engineer. . as a platform engineer at 1sphere, you’ll ship essential platform components, support production systems, and integrate enterprise solutions for leading companies. work with cutting-edge ai tools, enjoy a competitive package, equity, and fully covered benefits.. . what you’ll own. . service delivery build and ship platform components (auth, connectors, apis) that product teams depend on. write clean, tested code that becomes the foundation for customer workflows.. . production support own on-call for platform services, resolve incidents, maintain reliability. debug production issues, write runbooks, establish operational excellence.. . customer enablement deploy platform services to customer environments (sap, salesforce, workday, servicenow) and iterate based on real-world usage. build data connectors that integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems.. . your first 90 days. .
- Ship platform services to staging with comprehensive tests and monitoring
- Build 3-5 data connectors to major enterprise systems (SAP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow)
- Establish on-call rotation and incident response patterns
- Support first customer deployments and gather feedback for iteration
What We’re Looking For
Must Have:
2 years backend/platform experience (shipped production services; can show systems you built or describe architecture) - Used AI coding tools recently (Cursor, Claude, or Copilot in last 3 months; can show what you built faster and how you directed the tools)
- Production debugging skills (debugged live incidents, written runbooks, owned on-call)
Nice to Have:
Multi-tenant SaaS experience (tenant isolation, row-level security) - Built integrations to enterprise systems (REST APIs, OAuth, rate limiting)
- Experience with Go (our primary backend language)
