artin engineering design is seeking an experienced construction manager to oversee a complex roof replacement project for an active industrial facility in rancho cucamonga, ca. this is a full-time, on-site position requiring close coordination with contractors, engineers, and fm global representatives to ensure the project is executed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to operations.key responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Job Detail
  • Manage all aspects of the roof replacement in an operational industrial environment
  • Coordinate between contractors, engineers, facility operations, and FM Global representatives
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and communication plans
  • Oversee on-site work to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality control
  • Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders, and prepare progress reports
  • Lead construction meetings and maintain strong communication across all stakeholders
  • Ensure timely completion and thorough documentation of all project phases
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of construction management experience, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings
  • Demonstrated success managing roofing, re-roofing, or building envelope projects
  • Strong technical and leadership skills, with proven ability to manage multiple trades and schedules
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or equivalent project management software
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial site procedures
  • Preferred: Experience working under FM Global standards and within active facilities
  • PMP certification or California Contractor’s License
