Job Detail
  • Travel to customer solar sites across the U
  • S
  • Lead on-site deployment, setup, and maintenance of TerraWise’s autonomous robot
  • Interface directly with customers, technicians, and site managers to ensure smooth integration and training
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and network related issues in the field
  • Collaborate with our autonomy, perception, and software teams to relay field feedback and drive product improvement
  • Own the end-to-end deployment workflow
  • From pre-site checks to full platform commissioning and post-deployment validation

  • Requirements 3–5 years as a mechanical or electrical technician
  • Ability to travel frequently and work in challenging outdoor environments
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills with electro-mechanical systems (motors, batteries, sensors, embedded hardware)
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills to represent TerraWise professionally during deployments
  • Comfortable improvising and problem-solving in the field resourcefully

  • Bonus Skills Experience on utility-scale solar construction or O&M sites
  • Experience using software and communication systems (Starlink, GPS, etc)
  • Previous field service or startup experience where you wore multiple hats

  • Compensation $70K – $85K
    Location California (SF – Hybrid)
