Job Detail
- Assist pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare products to patients
- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain accurate patient records and profiles
- Process prescription orders and insurance claims
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Non-sterile compounding
- Inventory control
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, drug names, and pharmaceutical calculations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and record keeping
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Immunization certification is a plus
Skills: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification or desire to become certified within 6 months of hire - Pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Strong patient care or customer service skills
- Register and cash handling experience
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is HIGHLY PREFERRED
We are open Monday – Friday 8:30am – 6pm, Saturday 9am-1pm, closed Sunday - Weekends will rotate
