job summary. . part time field service technician – dallas/fort worth, tx. . robotics and digital solutions (rds) division of the hillman group has an opening for a full time field service technician in the dallas/fort worth, tx area. you would begin your career with rds as a kiosk technician training on key duplicating (minute key), tag engraving (quick tag) kiosks as well as 3rd party service (eco-atm, pokémon).. . the territory consists of 40 kiosks and number of hours per week is around 25. this position will pay $20-21 an hour based on experience. company car will be provided along with cell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles.. . essential job functions*. .
Experience
Work Record of 3 Years is required
Qualifications
Diploma or GED.
Job Detail
- Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule)
- Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order
- New kiosk Installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area
- Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues
- Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech’s possession
- Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc

Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED- Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred)
- Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred)
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred)
- Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical “jargon”
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook- Ability to always represent Hillman professionally
- Ability to work weekends when required
Operational Equipment
Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver’s license - Clean driving record is mandatory
- Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates
- Must have reliable transportation with automobile insurance (mileage reimbursement)
- Must have a reliable cell phone (reimbursed)

Work Environment
Sales/Service Environment varies due to location/store set-up - be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors
- Travel required daily
- have to drive 200 miles daily
- Hand/eye coordination required
- Function vision and hearing required
Physical Demands
Sales/Service Medium, lifting up to 30 lbs- , occasionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs
