- Electro-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis
- Assemble Electro-Mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, and standard operating procedures
- Use precision calibrated tools – torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers
- Perform visually inspect of Electro-Mechanical assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration and test procedures
- Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications
- Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair
- Soldering and reworking of through-hole and SMT components
- Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED - 3-5 years of relevant experience in Electro-Mechanical assembly on high reliability products
- Industry and/or Trade School training
- Working knowledge ESD, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC-A-610 standards
- Experience with a variety of assembly techniques and tools (e

- epoxy, thread-locker, torque wrench, soldering iron, microscope, etc
- )
- 3-5 years of soldering experience
Preferred Qualifications
> 5 yrs experience building a variety of component-level space products (e - g
- avionics boxes, batteries, mechanisms, optics, printed circuit board assemblies, solar arrays, etc
- )
- IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certification
- Experience working in at least a 100,000 Class cleanroom environment
- Ability to Obtain Clearance
- Ability to travel
