Job Detail
  • Oversee and manage fire alarm installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement necessary changes to project plans
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports using project management tools
  • Utilize relevant industry knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire alarm systems
  • Ensure all work complies with NFPA72 and other applicable codes

  • Proud of your professional appearance, language, and behavior
  • Currently holds non-expired or is able to obtain BSIS Alarm Company Employee (ACE) card (Fingerprinted background check required to apply for ACE card)
  • Current or renewable ‘Blue Card’ (California Fire Life Safety Technician; Journeyman)
  • Currently holds or is able to obtain a valid Driver’s License, and maintains no more than 1 point on DMV record (Driving a company vehicle is a requirement of this position)
  • Exceptional dependability & punctuality; demonstrates respect for and values other people’s time
  • Experience installing, testing, and/or servicing commercial and residential Fire & Intrusion Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems, including networking, or experience in related industry/trade such as Construction, Electrical, IT/Networks, Cable TV, Low Voltage
  • THOUGH NOT REQUIRED, PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS POSSESSING:
  • WBFAA Apprentice
  • Graduated Apprentice and passed Journeyman Exam; ‘Blue Card’ CFLST
  • Current or recent experience specifically with DMP, Notifier, FCI Gamewell, SilentKnight, Firelite, Honeywell, AES Radio, and/or Resideo Security, products
  • NICET training and/or certification
  • Relevant construction trades experience
  • Project Management experience
