Responsibilities
Maintenance Electrician responsibilities include but are not limited to
Trouble-shooting, Repairing and Replacing electrical components - Dismantling and removing electrical cables and wiring
- Install new equipment
- Running of electrical conduit
- Understand and comply with all safety and electrical codes
- Other duties as assigned
This is a safety sensitive position - This is an on-site position
Qualifications
Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Electrician position should possess the following
Able to read blueprints- Previous electrical experience – preferably in an industrial setting
- Able to drive a forklift or willing to undertake forklift training
- Able to work outside in all weather
- Able to lift up to 75-100 pounds
- Able to read and write
- Able to use basic mathematics
- Able to stand/walk on concrete/stairs for duration of shift
- Able to pass mechanical aptitude test
- Able to use ladders
- Able to use lift trucks (i

- – Snorkel Lift / bucket lift)
- Able to use various hand tools and power tools
- Able to work with a group or unsupervised
- Ability to work various shifts and ‘on-call’ as needed
Requirements
Preferred Block Certified or Journeyman Electrician - Use 2-way radios
- Wear task-specific Personal Protective Equipment
- Comply with all safe work practices and procedures
- Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
