(h&m’s) chantilly office specializes in low voltage cabling to support enterprise, data centers, government, and medical facilities. we design and install multiple technologies and work throughout the baltimore & washington dc metro areas. h&m is seeking several energetic, career minded individuals to join our team working out of our chantilly, virginia office.. . while working under the direction of a team lead or foreman, the ideal candidate for the installer trainee position will possess a willingness to learn cable and hardware installation, termination, and promote a safe working environment.. . responsibilities. .

Job Detail
  • Assist with installation activities including rack, stack, cable tray, conduit, hangers, labeling, trouble-shooting and testing
  • Embrace H&M’s safety culture by following safe work practices and policies
  • Willingness to learn how to read and interpret drawings, floor plans, specifications and cut sheets
  • Assist with basic job site organization and housekeeping
  • Assist with other duties as assigned


  • Qualifications

         Demonstrated ability to exhibit a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Ability to meet deadlines, listen and follow instructions
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Must be able to climb ladders and perform the necessary tasks while on the ladder
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • and carry 25 lbs
  • Industry-related courses such as networking, telecommunications, etc
  • , a plus
  • Occasional overtime and out of town travel be required
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia
