- This is an entry level position for maintenance personnel desiring a career path as a Power Distribution Technician(PDT)
- Under direct mentorship, a PDT Associate will gain knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics and repairing a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location
- Assist mentor with LOTO of equipment and function testing to verify equipment readiness
- Must have a basic understanding of electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints
- Performs work within a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware
- Assist with rig up/down of electric frac equipment including making electrical connections which includes deploying of medium voltage electric cables)
- Assist mentor with identifying unsafe conditions and suspending site operations until conditions are safe
- It is expected that someone in this role is able to break out as an independent PDT within 1 year of start

Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent and a technical certificate in applicable discipline is required - The role is a developmental role that will work around three phase power distribution components up to 15,000 volts (medium voltage electricity), PLC hardware, and cabling
- This role is developmental role through OJT and trainings
